don't know exactly but 10+ definitely. Probably somewhere around 20. The
first time I saw them was the year after they played the new band showcase at
Cornerstone. A friend of mine had read a good review and caught the NBS show
and raved and raved. I was actually at C-stone that year but not having ever
heard of them and being there was another show I wanted to see at the same
time I skipped. I''ve caught them at C-stone 7-8 times since and I've caught
them at Schuba's around the same. Also caught them at Wheaton. Wheaton was
my least favorite show but it may have been the stuffy hot atmosphere and
balcony seats. Been front row around 5-6 times too! Used to truly love
seeing them at Schuba's years ago. It's a wonderful little club and way back
when if you got there early enough you could catch the front row pretty
easily. They'd put out candles around the stage, an old oriental style rug
on the floor, and play their hearts out -- it was heaven. Still love 'em
live but those early times were really special.
