Yea, actually I stuck foot in mouth here because I've never seen the film and 
kinda knee-jerked because of the anti-drug effect mentioned.  I agree that 
propaganda, while sometimes having a desired effect doesn't pass as art just 
because it works.  If it gets too didactic it isn't art as much as preaching. 
 Art is something shaped in such a way that, while having a message, (it 
usually can't help but) is more about making us think for ourselves so we can 
draw our own conclusions, albeit a gentle steering to them conclusions works 
I think if done right.
