Me either. Looks really great. A bunch of us watched _GD_ for about the hundredth time the other
night. Love it...

I've said it before, but the first 3 songs (I have the IRS version) on _Patience_ are as good as it
gets, imo.

It's good. Some of it does sound a bit dated to me now though. I think _Mezzanine_ is probably their
best from beginning to end. But, then again, the only other thing that even remotely sounded like
them in '91 was Primal Scream's _Screamadelica_, and that's not really even that close.

Good stuff. New CD in April as well...

The Violets... depends on the album. The first CD (_Chosen_) is pretty straightforward early 90s alt
rock (before that was a term), the second (_Strength_ - the one I'm taping for you and Zena
eventually here, Josh) is guitar rock. Still kinda "alt-y", but mellower and totally worshipful. The
3rd is self-titled and it's absolutely amazing sounding. Andy from the Prayer Chain joined on that
CD, and the sound is big, loud and really swirling feedback-y kinda stuff. 'Twas my #2 CD of '96
after _GDBD_ The last one has some sampled kinda beats and I don't like it a whole lot. Haven't
really given it much of a chance, though.

That's pretty cool. I can't say the same. Steely Dan never did much for me. But the sample was cool.
It was like nothing else I'd ever heard in rap at that point. Had their stuff in the player quite a
bit lately.

I agree. Totally. On all of it.

Sure, Josh. Anytime... :)>

np: _Austin Powers_ on the tv in the other room...
