Re: 2 chicago shows

Hey all,

Jana,I would love to see the photos! I loved both shows. I actually liked
sunday night better. I loved the fact that Ain't No
Sunshine was worked into it. I believe they didn't do it Saturday night
because the documentary folks were there and it would be a Copywright
infringement. Too bad...Karin does such a fantastic job with it. The heat
didn't seem to bother me Sunday. Schuba's isn't the ideal place but...I don't
really care where they play. Its always a treat. Park West was awesome a
couple years back. They had room to stretch.
XRT played them before they were bought by one of the big 5...or 3
corporations that own every flipping station in the country. Are there any
college stations anymore? Remember in the 80s when college stations helped
put REM and others on the map? Alas...

While Paul's vocals were suprisingly good, I would have liked to have his mic
turned down a bit. His vocals were intrusive at times, which was kind of
jarring.

Would have loved to hear How Long Have You Been Stoned. I think the band
would have done a great job with it. and Anyway just because I can't hear it
enough.

Wish I could go to Madison. Have to wait for Fitzgeralds
