2 Otr related Questions....no wait! 3!
Hi fellow listees,
I have three quick questions:
1) What is the band's policy and/or fellow listee's
experience with taking photos at an OtR show? I have access to both
digital and conventional (but not fancy or high end) camera equipment and I
would like to take some photos of the west coast shows in LA and SD. (I'd
be happy to share them with the list or even the OtR website if they wanted
them). I'm particularly wondering about the ettiquette and annoyance of a
flash (because I don't want to be annoying or bothersome to the band.)
Ok that was a longer question than I
expected.
2) What's the latest word on listees going to the
San Diego and LA shows? This is an initial roll call. E-mail me off
list if you want.

3) (This question is for everyone.) With all
the buzz about OtR recording and certainly the incredible tidbits we've heard so
far (Ohio, etc.) I'd like to pose a question about cover songs. In the
past, OtR has performed some spectacular covers. My question to the list
is: What song (title/artist) would you like to hear OtR cover?
This might not be necessarily what they would do the best,
or even something that isn't in their genre (reference Dancing Queen).
This is more like a challenge. The song could be zany, or
obtuse....personally moving, or a "good fit." Perhaps Karin and Linford
will see some whimsy in the suggestions and actually do one (or more).
So, What song would you like to hear OtR
cover?
I'll start with "Light Up" or "Come Sail Away" by
Styx. I can hear Karin singing, I can see Linford playing...I can'
believe they'd be playing this! My apologies to the tragically hip among
the listees for starting this thread with an entry so cheesy.
