I've never considered myself a huge elephant fan, but I do remember having
a few elephant figurines on a shelf in my bedroom when I was a kid.  I
might have acquired those from my father, who grew up in Africa.

I watched _Dumbo_ for the first time in ages a few months ago when the DVD
came out.  What a lovely, odd, heartwarming little film.

And the ballet-dancing elephants in _Fantasia_ aren't bad either -- though
the hippopotami, ostriches and crocodiles are far more interesting.  :)
