amelie



amelie is a joy.
i love jeunet's stuff with caro but i didn't know i  i'd like amelie because 
i don't tend to like his solo stuff.
amelie was visually stunning from camera work and editing to production 
design.
thank you jeunet-thank  you

the magic for me was jeunet's creativity....
i know there is something wonderful and magical about phone booths-ie that 
there is beauty and wonder in everything around us-that the possiblities for 
creativity are endless...the trick is in being open to anything and 
everything as a possible source for ideas.
i grinned throughout the entire film for an number of reasons but esp. 
because jeunet took one thread and went on a beautifully rich tangent as a 
metaphor to structure the film.  it was a confirmation that the magic is 
eveywhere-even in your shoes.

i loved amelie.
