hmm...why do i always fall into the "nice girl" stereotype, even from people
who've never even met me in person? i guess the country mennonite comes
through no matter how many things i pierce or how red i dye my hair...

who do you watch movies with, anyway? i love this film. but, like "boys
don't cry," the most tragic part of it for me was knowing that the hate and
story it told was *real*, and not just some writer's idea of something that
could happen... i guess i'm just a glutton for seeking out dark realities
of the world and trying to make some sense of them.

>I just wonder if other's got what I got from it...

do tell, k! what *did* you get from it?

don't let anyone else intimidate you, dear! (i used to wear pigtails...)
my reaction is pretty similar. i love the movie. i love that it was so not
comfortable to watch. i'm saddened that it spoke of truth. beyond that, i
have a hard time discussing it outside of a real, face-to-face chat... but
it also made me actively seek everything edward norton has ever done...

that's all.
