So. 

Although my musical tastes have changed a bit since I last blurted out
"Alanis SUCKS" on this list, I still don't like her.  Most of it comes
from her bland style of music that's dotted here and there with what I
will call showy and superfluous misuse of the english language.  That
just ain't good lyrics folks...  

Yes she is a singer.

Yes she is a songwriter.

But let's examine who we call "singer/songwriters"

Okay, while I was gone I just wrote a song and then I performed it for
the cats and dustmites.  I even think this jogger slogging past might
have heard one verse of it "oh so you call me a cataclysmic catacomb,
well why don't you just suck the cap out of my 9"

So would you call me a singer songwriter?  



Stay tuned, I'm going on tour with Mike from next door.  He has a hit
here in the building "Smoking Smoke"
