Quite the opposite, I agreed with the sentiment, but not the particular
analogies.  I think that you made a huge mistake in comparing Van Gogh to
unintelligable lyrics.  I think a better example would have been the
early analytical cubisism of Braque or Picasso.  (Ex: Violin and
Pallette, or Ma Jolie) They created beautiful works through pushing and
pulling space to until the objects that were being depicted are almost
completely obscured.  However, these partial images have more grace then
any realistic portrait of them could ever.
	When you look at a Van Gogh, you know what the image is of.  When
you look at Starry, Starry Night, even without the title you know that
its a painting of a starry night, therefore, the image is intelligable,
it's just spoken in Van Gogh's own unique voice.
	And that, ladies and gentleman was my soapbox.
