me neither. it's this very reason i immediately stuck 'EVE' in the cd
player after reading jg's post... what a lovely, lovely album. Brian will
definitely be missed. i wonder if we'll ever get the full story... i mean,
why a new drummer? there must have been some interpersonal conflicts or
something.

it just doesn't make sense to me. why switch horses in midstream? anyone
who saw OtR in the few months following Jack's arrival knows that it took
them quite a while to get back 'together' musically. I saw the second or
third show after adding Jack here in Columbus at Ludlows, and it was just
awful. jack had his back to the audience most of the night and the whole
band just seemed a bit lost. it's hard to imagine that throwing a new
drummer into the fray won't have basically the same effect.

and who will this mystery drummer be? hasn't OtR already worked their way
through most of the cincy area musicians? jg, did brian elaborate on this
any further?

>oh, well.

*sigh* i think that sums it up pretty well.

bye for now,
eric.
