I'm piggybacking on Amy's comments - enjoy it while it lasts.

It's proper netiquette (for listservs and newsgroups) to:
- quote the previous post so those only following loosely can still
keep track of the conversation. Some people check email less
frequently.
- keep proper attributions in the headers to avoid confusion such as
happened with poor John today. That way you know *who* exactly you
are quoting.
- CC'ing the post to the person you are responding to is a
line-on-duty-yes. Think of it as a courtesy. Your "reply to all"
button works well for this purpose.
- this isn't english class, but using proper punctuation, spelling,
and grammar *will* help people from thinking you are a moron, and they
will probably read your post more for its content than otherwise.
Typos happen to everyone, that's not what we're talking about here.
- changing the subject header every other message screws things up for
people who use threading newsreaders (i.e. Agent, Gravity, etc.)
Changing the header when serious topic drift occurs is a good thing.

Normally, I'd say "HTH" at this point, but that would cause Krystyn to
roll her eyes, and I'd hate to see that happen. ;-)

LOOK, KRYSTYN! I *BANTERED* with you! HAW HAW! Now you're part of
the United Nations Mind Control Lasers OTR List HiveMind Clique!

You have been assimilated!

There is NO ESCAPE until you've eaten my FRENCH TOAST!
