I agree - I just saw it this weekend myself (as a part of an interesting
"just friends" Valentine's Day with the ex, but that's another story..).
Good flick.  I was expecting more of a
Fargo-type-hijinks-murder-comedy-and-wood cutters-in-the-snow kind of movie
which it wasn't.   I think by the end ALL the characters were pretty
fucked. IYKWIM, AITYD.  I'll second (or is it third?) that recommendation -
see it!

Bridget Fonda wasn't the moral pillar back in Jackie Brown either.  Maybe
she just likes those kind of roles...
