Junkies review and a little Monk

As usual I haven't been able to respond until the thread has almost
disappeared, but I will ramble on anyhow.

JG remarked in his dazzling review:

"In Canada, this song was banned because they thought it was Devil
Worship. So, here's our Devil Worship song, Misguided Angel" Well, i
guess i'm one of those web people, so dutifully i pass along the
story...Candace, is this true? (Candace is Canadien, newbies.) Was it
banned? Really? How's Marilyn Manson playin' up there? Is he going
over well?"

I have only become a Junkies fan as of late, however, I know this song
quite well and because I don't have any of their albums, I must know it
from Radio play. I remember it being played quite often. Perhaps it
was only banned on some easy listening adult stations or something.
Margo knows...I do not.

BTW, I got Monk's "Quiver" last week and I've been listening to it ever
since. It's the first I've actually heard from the band and I really
like it. I didn't realize that Ric had such a great voice. The singing
he did with OtR was so minimal that you couldn't really tell what he
sounded like. But, with or without the voice wow can that guy play. I
think I'll be getting "Hush" sometime soon (that's all instrumental
isn't it?...mmmm).
At the end of the credits in the CD booklet, he says something about
additional photos and liner notes, etc for $5. Has anyone ordered
those? Any good? Any left? I'm assuming that they would be pretty
cool.

All for now,
Candace
