Re: Thinking of the back roads...

I can't really say what I grew up as (an alien
perhaps). Ohio people, what would you guys consider
Massillon? I guess it is smalltown in the football
way, but that is what makes it well known too. I mean
Paul Brown, ok? But I know I have smalltown love.
I've been in the tiny towns and Minneapolis as my big
city. I really love Massillon, it's kind of in
between. Best of both worlds. Fall and football are
the best! That's what really makes me feel at home.
The thoughts of sweaters and leaves and listening to
my husband get all nervous and excited and yell all
the way through the game. Hayrides. Lightning bugs.
Sled riding. Home.

But I am also in love with Maine and even many New
England places that I have not been to. I'm all about
Alaska on a seasonal basis.

I used to love driving in any season outside of Mpls
going to Mound on the road that winds all around Lake
Minnetonka and listening to Summershine all the way.

Listening to Go Down Easy always reminds me of the
time I was driving with a friend just in the border of
WV and we were trying to find these bike trails in
this park and we were on this one lane road that was
winding and we were so lost. It was just almost
summer and the windows were open and it was wonderful.

Ok, I'm done now. Back to kind of lurk. Kind of.
