I certainly wouldn't be opposed to doing it "as well", as long
as they're not totally separate entities. IE, I'd hate for
something posted on the message board to not get out to the
Listees, and vice versa.

Now, as far as I know, there *are* ways of doing this. I know
that they do this for newsgroups at my work, where a post to the
newsgroup automatically generates an email to an email alias,
and a post to the email mailing list generates a post to the
newsgroup. So technically, I see no reason why it wouldn't be
possible, or even relatively easy.

However... from all I've seen, the whole OtR mailing list is
kind of it's own identity. The techies among us have cried
repeatedly for someone to fix the stupid "reply-to" feature, a
simple thing that would make clicking "Reply" to a list message
automatically go to the *list*, and not the person who sent it
to the list, but we can't seem to find the right person with the
right permission and/or knowledge to do this.

So in that sense, it might be more difficult than you think.

Maybe the whole thing needs an overhaul. With the number of
techies on here, we should be able to come up with something.
Maybe Rhys could do it - not like she's busy at the moment or
anything. ;)
