I'm with you, Bruce.  I wrote better paragraphs than that in high school!
Bad writing aside, the reviewer sure seems to find fault with quite a bit of
the record to give it 4 1/2 stars.  I came away from it with the impression
that it was more negative than positive--especially after that agonizing and
terrible first paragraph...
