Re: What's everybody reading?

I was goign to reply to Barry straight out, but then you provided me with a
wonderful link to my own reading.

I've been hitting L'Engle's Time Quartet (A Wrinkle In Time, etc.) again, along
with The Annotated Alice by Lewis Carroll for my fantasy fix.

To keep me grounded in reality, we also have The Prostitute in the Family Tree
by Douglas Adams (not /that/ Douglas Adams). It's a great little book so far -
the writing itself is not stellar, but the subject matter is intriguing and
provides new light for much of Jesus' teachings. I think I'll give a twisted
little bible study series based on the content of the book sometime.

Finally, for a decidedly secular view of our origin, we have Jared Diamond's
Guns, Germs, and Steel. I haven't read much of the book, but my frontal lobe is
quivering with anticipation.
