Both LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins are faculty at the Moody Bible Institute. 
LaHaye's nonfiction work is far, far more entertaining than his fiction, 
IMHO, like for example "Mind Seige" all about how Oprah is demonic, etc. 
  The stuff is entertaining because you get halfway through the opening 
chapter and realize that *someone really believes this stuff - this 
paranois is real*
It's like not being able to help looking at a gruesome auto accident - 
you keep reading and reading, each paranoid delusion more incredibly 
surreal than the last...
