indiana. i live in distant indiana. 

but thank you SO much for the info, anyhow. if i could
afford it right now, and get the time off, Beth and i
would travel in a heartbeat. (i know a good place or
two to stay in that area.) :{)}

which brings me to another point... sadly, we're not
going to be able to make the Taft show this year. this
hurts because i so enjoy the Taft shows and i'd love
to see Bill Mallonee again. my first OtR show was
during the Double Cure tour with VoL.

i feel bad, too, because i know there has been a lot
of discussion about the moving show dates, the after
show gatherings with the band, etc., and how many
people weren't going to make the show this year. i
very much support OtR when i can, and i'd give about
anything to make it this year...

the fact is, just being freshly married, we've got
various other expenses we need to tackle because of
the wedding. when the Traft show was (temporarily)
moved to saturday, it was perfect because it meant
that i wouldn't have to use one of my few remaining
days off from work (which will be used up with family
and the holidays) and we could crash at Bruce's pad.
what really dashed my hopes was finding out Bruce
wouldn't be in town friday, meaning if we came to
Cinci, we'd have to get a hotel room. that would put
everything out of range financially right now. the gas
for travel and the show tix we could barely squeeze,
but adding a hotel room is just too much.

it comes down to money. man, i hate money.

so please, i don't want anyone thinking i just won't
support OtR because it's a friday show. since the last
december show i was really looking forward to this
one. the thought of a rhinelander gathering really
excited me, too. we might try to make a closer show if
we can, but concerts come second to food and bills
right now. 

gee, i'm bummed.

so you won't see a kilted bink with a mrs. bink at the
Taft this year. (although i think i may have inspired
at least one fellow to do so in the past.)

i hope it's still a good show, nonetheless. we will be
there in spirit.
