Sixpence questions

I've some questions about the new Sixpence disc:

Did they release it independently? If not, who
picked it up and got it out? Obviously, their
last disc was fabulously successful with two
singles -- how's this one panning out? Or will
Sixpence end up being like Jars of Clay?
