I spend my days now immersed in political rhetoric. I don't think I'm being overly cynical to say that I absolutely do believe that Bush's pushing for war right now is very much tied to his desire to influence the upcoming mid-term elections. I know at least some of what's going on out there, it's my job. Bush may have the best of intentions in the main, but I believe he also has subcontexts to which he's giving far too much weight.
