kim taylor/OTR in studio/pets
So Kim Taylor's CD found its way to me last week, and boy I sure
do like it. There's no song I don't like but I find myself a
little extra happy when the stereo in the truck winds up on song
6 (conversation with god) and song 8 (birds & bees). I'd read
all the comments from last year when she was Touring w/
Karin&Linford&Jack about some of you thinking she sounds like
Karin and some of you not thinking that. And well, I'm on the
side that thinks she sounds like Kim Taylor. Don't think they
sound much alike at all. BUT... on Conversation with God their
vocals just, mesh. It's tripping me out. Separately, no.
Together, yes. *twighlight zone theme*
Which leads me to the new cd's they've been recording. You guys
think Kim's gonna sing backup on it? Think they'll sneak Terri
back in on us? I'm curious to see who you all think would be
neat to have sing backup. All I really have to go on is The Ark
show, and song 6 (heh) and I really really like the way Karin
and Kim sound together. So... who would YOU like to see forever
stamped on official albums singing backup w/ Karin?
my choices (excuse my limited opinions):
#1 Kim Taylor
#2 Leigh Nash
#3 Jedi Knight Jack (no, that's not a typo. at least on 1 song
i think it'd be cool)
And a little left of the whole alike or not topic, I saw Molly
Ringwald on some show w/ her dog. Cute dog. She said, "always
get cute pets cause eventually you end up looking like them."
And it made me think of Drew, and all his pets...

So I'm wondering, is Drew a Dolly? Or a Belle? Dolly's got
those big ol' ears and Drew's got that big ol'.. n/m. Anyway,
totally pointless. I haven't posted much lately and I'm taking
it out on you guys, do forgive. :)
