Re: colors & album impressions thereof...

and then there are books...i definitely find myself drawn more to books
with simplistic design...muted colors. i don't always buy just because of
the cover, but those books will be the first ones i check out. ahhhh...we
artists hold such power in our calloused hands! : )

you know, I was looking at that the other day. I have a lot of discs
with muted olors and blacks and browns. They tend to be classy-looking
colors, although not exclusively.
I don't know if the album affects the way I feel about it, especially
because I have some burned rarities and live albums and stuff and I like
them too. But maybe it does. Who knows? Weird. I love the art on
Sarah Masen's _The Dreamlife of Angels_. I don't listen to Jewel's
_This Way_ very much, maybe because I think the art looks too pop-ish
hahaha. I wish my sixpence wasn't different colors from the origional.
My cd is orange instead of brown. Plus it has some other minor
differences and "there she goes". Tacked on the end I don't like it
there.
rambling instead of studying, yay finals
