*patience* yum. triple yum. while working the merch table in pittsburgh
last week, many people asked my opinions on what they should buy. my
reasoning always ended up with telling them to buy *patience*.
you like _gdbd_ better than _ffr_? go with _patience_...it has some really
nice mellow stuff on it, with some more rocking grooves to boot.
you like the softer stuff and *poughkeepsie* is your favorite song ever?
then you'll absolutely love *lullabye* and *jacksie*...go with _patience_.
etc, etc.
kristina mentioned that i seemed to be pushing people towards
_patience_...can i help it's my favorite, ever?
at the end of the night when linford offered us a free cd, he told kristina
to ask my opinion. she just said, "i already know."
when i saw her at the chamber singers recording session the next day she just
gave me a big hug and told me that i had been right. *smile* i like being
right.
as for my thoughts on *poughkeepsie*...karin sang it on thursday, and it's
the first time in a long time that i have really enjoyed it...as most people
know, i think _gdbd_ gets the least amount of play in my cd player. and
sometimes i still can't tell the difference between the seahorse and etc.
whatever (i'm getting better, though). i was listening to the words as karin
sang them, though...and maybe *poughkeepsie* isn't so bad after all. *wink*
i still prefer * i painted my name*.
i have a six hour drive ahead of me. i'm glad i have so many over the rhine
cds to listen to...although i think my linkin park cd may sneak in at some
point.
have to go to work...have a happy weekend everyone. :)
*hugz and kisses*
