amen. why, yes, they're my 20 little friends (most
days more).  i swore i'd quit when i turned 30, it's
been 6 months and i really haven't tried.  completely
addicted, have been for 10 years easily.  it's a
sanity tool.  what cigarettes do most for me is to
break up my daily existence into palatable, bearable
discrete units of time.  and yet i want to quit: i
think about it every day.  

i think i'll step outside now...
