i saw it in boston - amazing! so huge, so big.... i liked it a lot.

the story squishes i agree with for the most part, but there was no
poetry... how sad.

and strider was... made ot be les than he is in the books. and what's with
arwen kissing him in the first movie!?

saruman was good.

gandalf looked like the picture in my book. the sizing was great, hobbit
holes look cozy, i want one. the hobbits were cool - except e,rry and
pippin were less mature in the movie...

the scenery was so cool, i want to g there.

the elves were very regal. legolas was good, but i nevr pictured them so
... fair skinned. i pictured them silvery browns and greays. o well.

elrond was Agent Smith - wierd.

the balrog was magnificent.

and the details in the mines were very good. so big. it was dizzying.

most of the inconsistenceis were ok - but leaving out the broken sword was
perhaps not so good.

but, i am not amovie director. just a bookreader.
