Rhys, you are quite charismatic.  I really appreciate everything quirky 
thing you contribute to this little vitural corner of the imaginary orchard.

That said, please believe me when I say that I don't find this list to be 
"snotty" (generally speaking), else I wouldn't be here.  I'm not a 
pretentious person, and tend to be repulsed by that trait.

Anyway, if you look again at what I wrote, you'll see I said twice that the 
people on this list are quite nice, in so many words.  What I meant by the 
closed society analogy was simply the this is a list of HUMANS, and, as 
such, is subject to the normal imperfections inheriant in the species.  The 
point- I merely sought to prevent the poor guy from feeling deliberately 
left out.  That feeling is not a happy one, trust me.  Who knows, he may 
have already vacated the premises.  Matt?  Hello??

Which reminds me, there are many listees I don't see around these parts 
lately.  Are you guys still here?

Persistant AND controversial, if not charismatic,

Matt- can I be "Classic Matt" as opposed to "OtherMatt"?  The new Matt could 
be "New Matt".
