I would also implore you to stick around a bit before
you make judgments. I think if you'll take an honest
look at what's being said, you'll see that most of
what we are doing is not hateful or spiteful. You
don't have to look far to see eager attempts to find
common ground or to clarify our desire to be
respectful and conciliatory.
Peter and I and others may sharply disagree and argue
(ad naseum) but we also like and respect each other (I
hope ;)). If you aren't seeing that now, than I beg
you to trust it until you do.
I would also add that a lot of us are out here in the
midwest and other places far away from New York City.
There's not a whole lot we can do that is tangible. I
wish that there were. All we can do is to try to make
sense of things in our own heads. Besides, these are
big questions that are gov'ment is dealing with RIGHT
NOW.
We don't mean to take away from your hurt and grieving
process. Hope all goes well with you.
