Russians didn't fear their leaders?  I guess I'm just saying we shouldn't
assume that everyone in a given country happens to think or act the way
that a handful of their fellow citizens on TV happen to think or act.

I was thinking of a specific case (or cases) that are now before the
courts -- I haven't heard of any actual executions there yet.
