No one is *altering* Lewis's work -- only adding to it. And while that's
just a bad idea, where the work of art is as personal as Lewis's Narnia
stories were, I would hesitate to write it off as "immoral".
I mean, plenty of artists play with the works of other artists -- witness
Tom Stoppard's _Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead_, which uses
Shakespeare's _Hamlet_ as a jumping-off point, or anything based on an
ancient Greek or Roman myth. The idea that art is an *individualist*
enterprise, and that the artist retains control over his or her work long
after he or she is dead, is a relatively recent idea, really.
