Why, yes, there is...

Very true. North Jersey is actually very pretty, while South Jersey, IMHO,
is rather flat and boring. Neither section is as bad as Newark/Elizabeth,
where the airport is. That area is what most people know of NJ, and it gives
us people a really bad impression of the state. My feeling, however, is that
the more people have a bad impression in Jersey, the less likely they are to
move here -- and we certainly don't need any more congestion ;)
