Let me add my voice to this growing consensus about "The World Can Wait". It
conjured Bond for me too when I heard it. Unfortunately, I don't have a wife
(under any of the definitions...) to consult with about it...
Last night, I was force-feeding one of my friends a diet of FfR and without
me saying a thing about my Bond-related thoughts vis a vis "The World Can
Wait", he mentioned that he thinks "Give Me Strength" would fit with a Bond
movie. On top of that, a couple years ago, my brother said much the same
thing about "Faithfully Dangerous".
Perhaps Karin just has a Sean Connery fixation in addition to her David
Duchovny obsession...
