Various and sundry thoughts
Finished work on a Saturday. Technology is wonderful: I can go to work on Saturday without leaving home!
It's also a curse: I can go to work without leaving home....
No FFR yet. Will wait patiently. Had to have it sent to work so someone would sign for it. Not there yet. Once it arrives, there will be peace on earth and it will begin with me.....
Garnder McPherson's quote from "Stranger in a Strange Land" bears repeating because it's so wise:

Damn straight. Reminds me of the quote (cannot remember exactly) from the novel "1984" in which it is presupposed that Big Brother has every right to impose its view of the world, because deep down it's right and good. At least that's the gist; don't remember anything about this exactly......

Also, where can I get Mary Fahl's MP3s, so I can sample?
The visual of Carman in red hair is scary. He still gets into fads 5 - 10 years after they're introduced. I remember an 80's LP of his in which he plays characters that say things like, "Yeah, man, that cat was crazy...." Would have been current ..... in a beatnik a jazz club.....in 1958....... ....OK, that is quite enough!
Good to see Jan and Don. Bad to not see Chris Emery.
OK, it's above freezing and sunny in Gloucester. Must go outside!
