Re: Over-The-Rhine Digest V3 #464

Juno stinks. Don't upgrade; it won't help.

David Gray is good. Has anyone mentioned the fact that David Gray is
good? He's good. He's on my radio. He was first intro'd to me by
Michelle Ramsdale, who played him o the tape deck of her little white
Volvo which she sold whe she moved down to Peru, S.A. She showed me a
song about wanderlust and homelessness, then she travelled far away. "If
you want it, come an' get it, for cryinng out loud."

The N key on my keyboard is acting up. Please forgive any missing Ns.

Is aNyone going to be in Upland Thursday to see the rock stars? I will.
And Rhys-a-roo will be there. And btw, if you say Rhys-a-roo out loud,
you gots ta roll the r in roo. And anyway, other very nice people will
be there, too. Will u? If you come to Upland, get icecream at Ivanhoes
after pizza at Toppit (the only pizza place in town), and then you will
have pretty much painted the town.

Are those Van Morrison lyrics in the middle of this David Gray song?

In California they want to drop the SATs as an admission requirement,
which, to me, just goes to show you that OtR is a band with Christians,
not a Christian band. Plus they sing about Jacksie, who is CS Lewis, and
Lewis was a neo-marxist aggro rock star, much like Zack De La Rocha,
without the hair.

Obviously, I must go.
