because

hey all,

i was talking about 'hey you',
though 'this is how we start a family'
was intersting, too.

i said 'christian' because that term
means a lot of different things on this list.
and i said 'poem' because it seems more
like a disclosure than a poem. i strongly agree with a
couple of people who have posted about it. i think
the word is read with whatever experience you've attached
to it. if you hang out with people who don't use it
and all that then you can approach it with a blank slate.
if your father beat you up and said it everytime that
his fist hit your face than you don't. fuck is a powerful
word. it's an ugly word. and again, i agree with the
people who say this is an effort to redeem it. so the
question then becomes, can the profane be redeemed.
can the profane be holy? i asked someone and they said
anything can be redeemed. i agree with that. but i don't
know if i would go as far as to say that i like
that 'poem'. i guess that man and wife...i wonder to
whom we're referring...feel comfortable displaying such
a moment on the world wide web. and i think that's where
i get uncomfortable.

is nothing sacred?
