it might be quick but its all about spinning in place. the ball goes back
and forth back and forth without achieving any visible result. then once in
a while something happens and you get those human piles, idiots kissing the
ground, chicks showing off their sports bras, etc, etc...

and the linebackers and linemen in major college and nfl are FAST...this guy
from UM, he is about 245 lb, played LB, he trained with my high school
trackteam in the spring and ran with us sprinters step for step. i would
even say he is faster than i am, and i weighed only about 160 lb back then.
they might be built like land rovers but some of those rovers can run with
the corvettes.

that's not the point, the point is there is such a thing called a playbook,
and you'd have to understand it to do much on the field. the point is you
have to move at a fast pace, read, react and attack, all within about 3 to 5
seconds with huge people trying to cut you off at the knees or blindside you
at the same time. there is no thinking about what you are going to do, you
better know everything so well that instinct and reaction will take you
there. if you stand around thinking, some 300 lb guy with a mean
disposition will plant you ass in the grass, hey that rhymed...:)

no, that makes you a arm-chair quarterback maybe a sofabed sweeper in your
case and your objective opinion irrelevant.
