summer in mexico

ah the semester is over :)...

and another begins!:)  in a matter of days, i'm going to mexico (merida, 
yucatan)!  i got a grant to do research there [1)colonial 
literature--bartolome de las casas and 2)a linguistics project on 
communicating with christian (primarily catholic) deities] for the summer.  
i'll be in their sweltering heat (not that different than tallahassee i must 
say) for a little over 3 months and *will* have access to this email 
account.

if there is something specific that you might want from there, please let me 
know.  no cucarachas ni marajuana, por favor :)
