Re: guns



Self-defense weapons, such as guns and other tools, are like insurance
policies. You hope you don't have to use them ever, but you know there's a
chance, and if you do, they are there, ready to be used. There are many
good, normal people out there who you would never guess were gun owners
since there's so much vilification going on in the media. They don't have
"accidents", they don't pull them out during family quarrels, and their kids
don't take them to school. They have families and they can't afford to live
in suburbia (and/or they wouldn't want to...)
