Re: ball

Just to complicate things I asked Jason Dennie if he would be
willing to play at Brady's on a Saturday night for a dinner and
concert for the Over-the-Rhine list. He lives in Ypsilanti, MI now
so it is not too far of a drive. He has opened for Over-the-Rhine
so many people have heard him. There is information about him at
http://bluejordan.com .

Jason Dennie answered that he would be very interested to play
at Brady's for 30 Over-the-Rhine fans. He would play cheap he said,
$200-$250. I will personally pay his fee to make it easier to make
this happen. I guess we should include him in the dinner for free.
He asked me to call him next week to be certain that we reserve a
date for him and he does not get scheduled somewhere else.

I have seen both Michael Kelsey and Jason Dennie. If you like
Michael Kelsey you will probably like Jason Dennie also. Jason is
not the extrovert showman that Michael Kelsey is, but he has an
Over-the-Rhine connection.

I strongly recommend Jason Dennie at Brady's. There must be
some way to make this work with 30 people. If we get more people
so much the better. Maybe we can have two prices, a cheaper price
to come in after dinner, or to open up the club to the public after
the dinner. If we open up the club we should keep the first choice
in seats and let the others take leftovers.

Ask Bonnie about 30 people as a worst case, with more people
arriving after dinner just to see the show.
