Hi, Denise! I remember you, too! I've just been an evil cow and joined FIVE
lists now, so reading my mail is a full-time job. And as a friend said on
another list the other day: I read so much I forget I'm not posting.
The only thing I have to add is that I've been trying to get all the Cinci
lostees to help me out with a project we've all been discussing for ages now:
the Rhinelander Ball. So far, we have a lovely potential set-up at Brady's in
Kent, but the majority seems to feel Cinci is a more appropriate venue. But
have I heard from any of the Cinci people? Noooooooooooooo! (NOT THAT THAT'S
A HINT OR ANYTHING, FOLKS!)
So you'll be there, right? Whenever we have it? Wherever it might be? Just
keep your calendar clear!
And for the record, I don't like being told I'm the reason Bruce left the
list. As I remember, he'd flitted in and out several times already.
Considering how long I've been on this list, I would have thought that if
someone was causing trouble for me, perhaps some folks here might have stood
up for me, and I was rather distressed that no one did. Hearing that the
whole sordid tale "made" someone leave just pours salt in it.
And on a COMPLETELY unrelated note, does anyone know how to reconfigure AIM
or AOL to work from behind a proxy server? Damn PCs. Why can't they be
sensible and use Macs?
