Hi Ysobelle,
i'm afraid Kylie was right. Somewhere between the fabulous Stavesacre and
Havalina shows on Wednesday somebody took my backpack from my tent, as
well
as emptied my trousers in which I kept my passport, drivers license,
credit
card and bank card. And return train ticket to Chicago.
I called to block the cards, the thief didn't find the cash i had stored
in
another place in my tent.
Getting back to chicago was also a problem. The woman who had picked me
up
from the Galesburg train station also dropped me off there and left
straight
away assuming i was ok (as I thought myself). But it turned out I
couldn't
get a new ticket without photo ID. (anti-terrorism policy).
So I had to call the festival grounds to find me someone to drive me to
Chicago. Luckily there were some JPUSA people willing to pick me up from
the
station and get me back to Chicago.
So now i'm back at the youth hostel, tomorrow I can get a temp passport
from
the dutch consulate and I will call my bank to send over some cash.
I had planned to fly to Boston today but that must also be rearranged.
But I'm alive and well otherwise, which is the most important. I'll
survive,
thanks be to God.

Holland on Saturday.
