Greetings! I hope you are staying cool in these warm days. While you're
staying cool, you should stat tuned in- there's lots of great music on 3
Chords & the Truth, Baby!
Well, the whole CARP thing is sort of behind us. Some webcasters decided to
shut down immediately and avoid going bankrupt. That right there is a
perfect example of what's wrong with this whole thing. I'm all for paying my
taxes and I'm all for artists getting paid, but it shouldn't put me out of
business.
And in this case, its not. I'm not going anywhere. Not for a while (and
there was much rejoicing) (I hope...)
I hit the archives for some summer music from Cheap Trick and Elvis Costello
this week. I also found some live bootlegs that are amazing. Listen for the
77s doing an extended blues jam with legendary guitarist Phil Keaggy. And
listen for a beautiful rendition of "Cast Me Away" from Over the Rhine.
