Ach, Ticklepenny! I should have chimed in with them right away. They've got a couple mp3s up at their site. They also have several up at pastemusic.com, though I haven't compared to see if they're all different or not. "Sunday's Best" is my pick of their's, I'll say. Definitely worth seeing if you're at CS.

Here again I choose to express myself by jumping up and down and waving my arms rather wildly. I'd love to have a few bootlegs on the shelf. Much easier than plugging gnutella trying to find some live tracks.

What kind of system do you have? Sounds odd. If you're doing a disc-to-disc copy, maybe try ripping the entire cd to your hard drive first, test those wav or aiff files. Make sure you have a good source before you burn. Though of course it really should just work.

Cincinnati. Grew up mostly in Kokomo, though. Before I moved to Cinci I lived in Bloomington for two years. So I'm fairly familiar with Indiana. :) Spent most of our state park time in the Turkey Run/Shades area. Where are you sitiated?

I get to ride horses on occasion, and I've sure read my share of Dick Francis books, but I've never been around them enough to develop a relationship. Are they good folks, then?

Title: RE: non-OTR music question

One other band with a lot of Violin and a female singer I thought of is Ticklepenny Corner.  The main two members of the group are a brother and sister and they alternate singing, so it isn't all female fronted.  They'll be at C-Stone Tuesday night at 8:45.  They are worth checking out.  The female, Beth sits in with Michael Knott sometimes as well.

Did anyone hook Jason up with any bootlegs?  If I can figure out how to make my new burner work with music CDs, I can get you a couple.  I can burn program CDs and write data to a CD but the two times I tried to copy music all I got was about the first 3 seconds of each song.

Nathan where do you live?  It is so peaceful just walking along on horseback through the many state parks we have in Indiana and enjoying the views and wildlife or to move "all out" and feel the power of a huge animal underneath you and flow with him.  I've had fast cars and motorcycles, but to me nothing beats a galloping horse.  There is always the little added thrill of knowing the trust the horse has for you to gallop and turn at your command but understanding that at any minute some outside influence may startle the horse back to the flight instinct and he will once more be in charge.

Why am I working when I could be riding?  Oh yeah $$$$.
