This is quite funny!

And it makes me think of how strange the performer:fan
ratio is.

So much of the emotion felt by a fan is one sided and
if the two ever meet, the performer is confronted with
these emotions (in many cases)for the first time. It
must be very awkward to continually be exposed to
strangers emotions--and very intriguing as well.

I think the more smooth of these confrontations would
go something like:

FAN: I'm a big fan of your work
ARTIST: Really, I'm glad.
The FAN then begins to discuss a perceived topic of
interest to see if the ARTIST will bite.

Oh well, I'm just rambling. Nothing comes out as I
planned it anymore.

And my question to the both of them? What kind of car
do you drive?

And the most influential song: Although, it's the
sound of the music that pulls me in, I have to admit
that the enigmatic lyrics of OTR have both been a
contributor and a detractor to the overall "influence"
a particular song has on me. Perhaps it's my mood
that's defining this moment for me now, but out of all
the deserving songs, "Eyes Wide Open" comes to mind as
painfully influential.

but enough about me...
