I might be wrong here, and I'm probably missing the joke (would *not* be the 
first time), but I thought that anyone lived in a pretty *how* town?

Like I said, this wouldn't be the first time I have been mowed down by the 
humor wagon.  That's my favorite e e cummings poem though, so I hope I'm 
remembering it right and missing the joke rather than vice versa.  Maybe 
something was lost in the translation...
