It was weird to read my e-mail this morning and see the "flint CD" discussion because I was going to post a similar question to you relatively-quiet-of-late people.  Some friends and I were discussing this weekend our most influential books, movies, and CDs.  Some of the answers were so odd because they wouldn't be the same as "favorite" book, CD, or movie.  But our choices clearly had personal meaning...stuff that, for one reason or another, changed our lives...

So what is your most influential CD, book, and/or movie?

For me it was 

CD: Counting Crows - August and Everything After
Book: Maya Angelou - I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings
Movie: Waiting for Guffman
