i work for a caterer (actually, i'm the prime minister to the
figurehead), and i think it would be cool to offer help for the ball, but
being so far (TN) would pose a bit of a problem, in the freshness
department. . . i could say this much about pricing, though.  a decent
meal, say a meat, two or three vegetables, a salad, beverages,
silverware, etc., for just 50 can easily cross the thousands mark.  it
may be cheaper per person than a meal at a restaurant, but it's still
steep. . .
