Remember last year's MTV awards? She gave quite a little angry speech at
that show, denouncing the politics of pop with a diatribe that was part
little girl fluster and part viciousness that would make anyone's teeth
curl. She's angry, man, and full of herself to the point of demanding
respect.
Which has very little to do with why she named her album with some sort of
beat poem, except for maybe it's "because she can." From what I've heard,
retailers/reviewers/youraveragejoe will probably be referring to it as "When
the Pawn Hits," and leave it at that.
