this whole brian thingy
hey there, folks.
i just wanted to write a short note on the subject of brian being an
ex-member of otr. . .
there'll be a lot of "that's too bad"s and "aww shucks"s and such, but
seriously - this doesn't mean that linford is an asswipe or that the band
will suck forevermore.
people leave bands all the time. band members have disagreements all the
time. people get their feelings hurt or nerves become frazzled - that's the
way life goes. in every band that i've had any kind of personal involvement
in, there's always been a "go-to guy." you know, someone who had to make the
final decisions. it appears that in this case, it's linford. that doesn't
make him a bad guy.
i understand that brian was (is) a member of this family of musicians and
fans. i'll miss him, too. i just think that finger-pointing isn't
necessary.
